Keeping the handoff visible

A delivery involves more than getting an order onto a truck. Store teams need its current status, drivers need a way to record progress, and the delivery record needs to come back into view. I expanded an existing freight and customer-order tracker and built a companion driver app to connect those parts of the job.

Beyond the delivery

The connected tools cover deliveries, collections and proof-of-delivery records. I also created the process and supporting tools for tracking stock orders between store and warehouse teams, with dashboards that make order status available for coordination.

My contribution included the application development, driver app, workflow documentation and training. The purpose was continuity across handoffs: a status recorded in one part of the process should be useful to the people handling the next.
