BLIGH HEDGES

Giving people something to make, point to and talk about.

Thinking through making

Creative Convos explored how physical making could help people express ideas and give feedback. We developed and playtested a clay-based toolkit in the context of redesigning Auckland’s Aotea Square.

The conversation around the model

The clay gives a person’s idea a physical form that others can look at and discuss. I helped develop and present the work, and edited the playtest video. Quentin filmed the video.

Context

Collaborative student research and a playtested toolkit developed in 2019.
